Montana is located in the western United States and is a great place to begin or continue a truck driving career. Montana truck driving jobs are available in many of this great state's cities, including: Helena, Great Falls, Butte, Bozeman, and Billings. Three major interstates--I-15, I-90, and I-94--are used by truck drivers to deliver items throughout the state. Montana truck drivers may also work on one of the state's seven Indian Reservations.

Montana Roadways

  • I-94 - Running through eastern Montana is I-94. This interstate enters eastern Montana in Wibaux County, and follows the route of the Yellowstone River past Miles City and Forsyth. Just east of Billings, I-94 connects to I-90.

  • I-90 - I-90 enters southeast Montana near the Rosebud Mountains, on the Crow Indian Reservation. The interstate continues north until it reaches Hardin, where it turns east. I-90 passes by most of Montana's major population areas, including Billings, Bozeman, Butte, and Missoula.

  • I-15 - Interstate 15 is the major north/south route through Montana. This interstate enters southern Montana in Beaverhead County. I-15 continues north to I-90 (near Butte), where it merges onto I-90 to exits 227 and 129. At that point, I-15 continues north through Deerlodge National Forest and into Helena. I-15 continues in a north/northeast direction to Great Falls. At Great Falls, I-15 continues north to the US/Canada border.

Montana Indian Reservations
Montana is home to seven Indian Reservations. These Reservations include the Crow Indian Reservation, the Ft. Peck Indian Reservation, the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation, the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation, the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, the Northern Cheyenne Reservation , and the Flathead Indian Reservation.

  • Crow Indian Reservation: Located in southeast Montana, this reservation borders Wyoming, Montana, and the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.

  • Ft. Peck Indian Reservation: Located in the northeast corner of Montana.

  • Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation: Located in north-central Montana.

  • Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation: Located in north-central Montana, just west of the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation.

  • Blackfeet Indian Reservation: Located in northern Montana, right next to Glacier National Park.

  • Flathead Indian Reservation: Located in northwest Montana.
